Helsinki & London (October 18th, 2022) - Boots has launched new "Boots Skin Analysis" service on boots.com, offering customers a personalised digital skin advisor experience that helps to identify their skin needs, and then recommends a unique matching skincare routine and product recommendation.
Boots Skin Analysis is a collaboration with Revieve, a personalised digital brand experience company working with global brands, retailers, and digital service providers in the beauty, skin, health and wellness categories, to help deliver a personalised skincare routine to customers.
Boots has an unrivalled depth and breadth of product offering, with thousands of skincare products included in the experience so that all customers' individual needs are taken care of in a personalised way online.

The experience is powered by Revieve's proprietary mobile skin diagnostics technology and AI-powered product recommendation engine - built as one seamless experience for customers. The mobile skin diagnostics can analyse more than 200+ sub-metrics and around 20 main metrics such as redness, acne, texture, pore dilation, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, radiance, hyperpigmentation, and many others.

How it works
By accessing the Boots Skin Analysis, customers can receive a personalised skincare routine in three easy steps. First, customers are asked to answer a series of questions about their skin concerns and needs and share their location to provide additional context. Next, users are invited to take or upload a selfie to receive an in-depth analysis of their skin. Finally, an AI-powered recommendation engine matches the user input and analysis results with the best matching products from Boots’ brand assortment.
